How To Get Over Being Fired!

Anger. Sadness. Disappointment. Confusion. These are but a few of the myriad emotions that come to mind after being let go from a job. With the adrenaline rush that immediately makes itself known, before long, that rush is replaced by the downfall associated with the feeling of loss. The key is for that sense of “loss” you experience to be as fleeting as possible. You do not want to stay in that ditch of depression. Life is too short.

First things first: get a check-up from the neck up. To be in control one must first get in control which further requires taking it back. Your ability to maintain and establish order in your life–particularly in times of disorder–stems from your ability to first have control over oneself. It is not what happens to you. It is how you react. This determines not only which paths you take in life, but also sets the tone for the quality of enrichment that is to be gained and processed by you.

As with any challenge set out before you, the purpose is not to destroy you. There are times when life and the Universe at large requires more of you for some unstated reason that will come to make itself known only at that time when you are most ready. The last great undiscovered Universe is your mind. As infinitely complex and mysterious as the human mind is, surely, it is more than up to the task of solving every problem that comes before you. Being fired or let go is just another opportunity for your mind to go to work doing what it does best–solving problems.

Secondly, now is the best time to build a plan. Build is a special word, because when you build something, it is often from scratch. To build is to impose no limits on yourself. I want you to give something special to yourself in this your of need: I want you to design the life that you want for yourself. Not the life that you think you should have, but the life you actually want. Now attempt this step only after you have gotten complete control over yourself. The disarray that overcame you initially has been dismissed. YOU did that. You took back your power and your control the second you made the decision to be in control. Now comes the important step. In order to do this and do it right find a quiet place without any distractions. Even if you have your phone with you, put it on Airplane mode. This is too important to take lightly. Now that you’re in this quiet place, sit down with a pen and paper because in this next step, the rest of your new life will be birthed.

This is where your thoughts turn into things.

Here is where your words become flesh. They must come from your hand.

Write down exactly what you want. No matter how far fetched it is, write it down. Whether you desire a new love or money or a new home or car or better health or a career change. Whatever it may be, write it down and be as specific and detailed with it as possible. For instance, if you want to be a better person, write down exactly all the ways you really want to be. The chains that have held you down are no longer in effect, for you have been given the key from your mind. The brakes that you have subconsciously applied to yourself over the years, even in those times you were soaring, have finally been released by you.

What you have to understand is that the moment you imagine something, you begin to move toward it. In addition to that, when you write it down, a gateway is constructed that enable you to obtain the very thing that you desire. READ THAT LAST LINE AGAIN. When you write it down, you are making a deal with yourself. Think on it in these terms: If you don’t believe in yourself enough to write down what it is you really want in this life, do you honestly expect to live your life on your terms?

With everything you set out to achieve, do not ever tell yourself that it cannot be done. The moment you put the words down on paper, you remove all doubt from the only person that matters–YOU. Once you write it down, you sell yourself on the idea that it can and will be done. After this occurs, the secret powers of your mind will awaken from its slumber and all of a sudden opportunities and pathways that were previously unseen will make themselves known before your very eyes. Best of all, now that you are of the prepared mind, you can take full advantage of precisely what is before you.

Thirdly, I want to leave you with the last step of this exercise.

This sheet of paper you have where you have mapped out your destiny: DO NOT share it with anybody. For this to work it must be done in secret.

This vow that you make to yourself is sacred. Once your plans are in action and your positive changes are taking place, that’s one thing. But this blueprint you have designed: This is knowledge that is not meant to be shared with anyone. You can hit every goal and check mark everything you wrote down as “completed.” Still, keep it to yourself. And look at it everyday. DO NOT miss a day. I like to look at mine every night before bed so that I end every night on a good note, thereby waking up the next day refreshed and ready to continue my journey.

You may not know me but you were brought here to read this. This message that you received was meant for you. Do what is says and watch your life change like never before.
